Ruby River Steakhouse wins Best of State For immediate release Ask any Utahan where you will get the best steak around and they’ll tell you, “Ruby River Steakhouse.” Again, it’s official. Ruby River, owned and operated by Murray, Utah’s Sizzling Platter LLC (SPLLC) was named “Best of State” in the “Steaks” division of the casual dining category. “Our motto at Ruby River is, ‘What a steak ought to be’ and we take that seriously,” said Ted Morton, CEO Sizzling Platter. “It’s a true honor to receive this recognition.” Ruby River received the same award in 2011 as well. “Best of State” is an organization that seeks to recognize businesses that are achieving, innovating and improving the quality of life in Utah. Ruby River Steakhouse is a Utah original, creating the most flavorful steaks west of the Mississippi. All steaks are aged for tenderness, hand-cut, in-house daily and seasoned to perfection. We complement our award-winning steaks with tender chicken, fresh seafood, lively salads and handcrafted soda or gold medal beer from the Ruby River brewery. “We are always looking for ways to make Ruby River fresh and exciting while keeping the highest standards for our steaks—and it shows,” said Mark Howe, SPLLC operations VP. Ruby River serves all ages in its laid back casual style with a touch a country romance. There are four locations along the Wasatch Front with another Ruby River in Reno, Nevada. Sizzling Platter LLC owns and manages more than 180 restaurants in seven states under the Ruby River Steakhouse, Hoppers Grill & Brewery, Sizzler, Red Robin, Little Caesars and Dunkin' Donuts brands.
